Persia Revisited was written by General Thomas Edward Gordon in 1895. Gordon was Military Attache and Oriental Secretary to Her Majesty's Legation at Tehran. Gordon returned to Persia and this is his account of the changes he saw there. As he was completing this book when the assassination of the Shah, Nasr-ed-Din occurred. Gordon added two chapters touching on the present situation.
