A Flaw in the Ointment is at once a challenging book and an enjoyable read, in which author Michael Perilstein presents a well-reasoned perspective on the nature of time and space, and the illusion of free will. Filled with engaging thought experiments, the volume provides ample exercise for the mind. Especially thought-provoking is the authors pointed critique of religion, which will remind some of Christopher Hitchins controversial God Is Not Good.
