Faith Foster discovers she was adopted when she was a baby. She and detective Mark Clark find themselves in the middle of a murder mystery, while searching for her birth parents. She and Mark were high school sweethearts but broke up due to a clash of standards. However as the story progresses their attraction is rekindled.
