The best way to describe GUNFLNT CRITTERS AND OTHER NORTH WOOD WONDERS or what was the inspiration behind it is instant love! In 1999 in spite of the 'Mother Nature Blow down welcome committee' and being stranded on the Gunflint Trail for 3 hours. The smell, the beauty, the serenity and wilderness enticed me with a desire to spend more time on the Gunflint and explore its roughed ness.
