This is a coming of age story unlike any other. LAST FROM GO follows a young black man from D.C. who has been raised by his uncle after his parents have been killed in Africa in an automobile accident. Kenton Abasi Mingus gets suspended from school for hitting a teacher and consequently, his uncle feels he can only send him to Africa for two years, to keep a promise he made to his sister and her husband before they died. In Nigeria he finds reading and himself but more importantly, what it means to be a son of Africa regardless of where you are located in the world.
