"Victor" tells the story of a young man in German occupied Belgium, who became a Jesuit priest, and managed to sneak out of war torn Europe to escape to the United States, where he taught at Loyola University, and lectured throughout the south. Father Dossogne was a regular on a New Orleans radio talk show, and was quite athletic in his youth. Later he taught at Trinidad State College until his vision failed.
