This work discusses the theory and potential applications of high and low temperature superconductors (HTSC and LTSC) in such fields as radio astronomical systems, laser radars, microwave and millimeter wave missile receivers, satellite communications systems, high resolution medical equipment, diode pumped solid state lasers, IR detectors and sensors, remote sensing devices, solid state microwave components, and CW diode lasers.
