The books in the World History series features reading selections in the content area and assessments that utilize a variety of questioning strategies, such as matching, true/false, critical thinking, and constructed response. Hands-on activities, research opportunities, and mapping exercises engage students in learning about the history and culture of civilizations around the world. A downloadable version of the reading text at a 4-5 grade reading level is included for struggling readers. Each book is also correlated to state, national, and provincial standards.
