Detective Sniffer prides himself on the many years of loyal service that he has given to the Queen of England. Although he is now retired from active service, he continues to be called upon in times of crisis. In this story, Sniffer and his old pal Inspector Lightpaw, discover that the Crown Jewels of Great Britain have been stolen without a clue to be found. Sniffer must use all his guile and courage to once again honour his queen.
