Word Weaver: A Prison Tale is a memoir of an ex felon recalling some of the unique men he met in prison, their stories. As a G.E.D. tutor he wrote love letters and love stories (included in the book) for some of the men to their sweethearts and lovers back home. It is a creative and provocative work that also deals with the realities of life in prison as well as homosexual and heterosexual relationships. Furthermore, the book raises hard but honest questions about the diagnosis, treatment, and labeling of sex offenders in American Society. It is a must read.
