The Presidents who have served since 1969 have been part of a great social, economic and political change in America. New inventions produced wealth, but at the same time many corporations outsourced the work force to third world countries.While the Vietnams War ended, three major new wars were fought--two of which are still ongoing. The expansion of the United States occurred in the 71 years between 1829 and 1901. This was the fulfillment of the Manifest Destiny credo. The country increased dramatically in size. Even the Civil War did not halt the advancement as new technologies emerged to alter the societal landscape.
