AN ADVENTURE IN THE LIFE OF THOR purports to be a retelling of the Norse Thunder-God's journey to Jotenheim, presented as an absurdly-lengthy radio drama, played to an audience of one: the Reader. Included among the characters are an overconfident Narrator and the 13th Century bard who first popularized the story---the former has his confidence shaken and the latter sleeps through the entire shebang.
