This work offers an accessible introduction to action research for teachers, by encouraging them to adopt a research attitude to their practice and development. It aims to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical teacher training. The book contains a range of tasks that should be suitable for many different in-service teacher education and development programmes and the materials have been designed to help teachers develop their skills, knowledge and attitudes.
