This presentation of the programme of the first International Conference on the Remediation and Management of Degraded Lands has three sections: mine management and rehabilitation, the management of derelict lands, and soil contamination and reclamation. The 34 chapters present a proactive, solution based approach to the rehabilitation of our natural resources.
