We are in an age of massive stimulation, more, more, more, higher, higher, and higher which translates into our obsession for living futuristically, collecting mounds of numerical data, and relegating qualities of humanity as less important. This focus on data creates walls that impede relationships, causes anxiety among educators and learners, and fosters a reductionistic learning environment = poverty of learning.
