This is a transcription of the autobiography of Mormon pioneer Peter Madsen (1818-1910), who emigrated from Denmark to Utah in 1853 with the first company of Danish pioneers. The transcription is fully annotated and is accompanied by photos and other supplemental material, including a list of Madsen's descendants, obituaries, and profiles of some of his children.
