Die "Historische Kommission zu Berlin" betreibt die Erforschung der Landesgeschichte und der Historischen Landeskunde Berlin-Brandenburgs bzw. Brandenburg-Preuens in Form von wissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen, Vortragen, Tagungen und Veroffentlichungen sowie durch Serviceleistungen.
