Which came first, the painting or the poem? Brock's little book, "Poems for Drunken Atheists: Illustrated by the Author," represents the culmination of two decades of off the wall thinking. The poems are about life experiences, personal opinions, and just plain weird stuff the author would be pressed to explain. The illustrations are reproductions of Brock's original oil paintings which have many of the same themes as the poems.
