John Trout Rader III died on May 23, 1991 after a long bout with multiple sclerosis. At the time of his death he was Professor of Economics at Washington University in Saint Louis. He was born on August 23, 1938 and received his B. A. from the University of Texas in 1959 and his Ph. D. from Yale University in 1963.
