The varied perspectives of biologists, ethnologists, sociologists, clinical and social psychologists, and anthropologists on the nature and uses of nonverbal behavior are all represented. The alphabetically arranged citations are divided into two categories: studies of normal individuals, and studies of psychiatric subjects.
