I started combining the watercolor painting with the writing to try to teach the children about loving and caring for people and animals. I wanted them to read a story about helping a little animal, a baby duckling, and realize how wonderful the outcome can be when a ducking life was saved. The story is about a chipmunk named Cha Cha that was very alert and noticed a ducking that was left behind by it's Mother in the reeds. Cha Cha watched the duckling and helped it when it came ashore.
