Christian Stannow's "little" American novel with the author's unique view of the United States some forty years ago as well as history about early settlers in the northeast. Many memorable characters in this remarkable novel with focus on a small town in New York state, Key West, Austin in Texas, New Orleans and Santa Catalina and capitalism. A novel with much humor and the struggles of everyday people. There are links to timeless and universal Greek mythology and the human condition.
