Christopher Morley (1890-1957) was an American poet, novelist, essayist, and journalist. He attended Oxford as a Rhodes scholar. He worked at Doubleday as a publicist and publisher's assistant. Morley was one of the first judges for The Book of The Month Club. This is a book that can be enjoyed by children and adults. As a child it is entertaining. As an adult more meanings are found. Morley's basic message is do not be afraid to look for your dreams. At the same time do not be surprised if what you seek can be found right at home.
