This Water Resources Information and Issues Overview Report was developed at the request of the NHS. It represents an important collation and summarization of water resource information; an identification of applicable federal, state and local legislation and policy that affect the management water resources; an assessment of current water resource status; and, an identification and analysis of water resource issues that the NHS is currently facing, and recommends future management actions or directions to address those issues.
