Diversity is a Core Value of Social Work and is honored and pursued across every dimension but gender. Men are an ever-decreasing proportion of social work practitioners. Why is this happening? And why is it being allowed to happen with no sense of urgency, alarm or even concern from Social Work leadership? Are there anti-diversity forces in Social Work that want the profession to be "by women, for women"?
