Born on a farm in Canada, Jonathan Goforths ambition as a young boy was to study and become a politician. Little did he know then what the future held in store. At the age of eighteen he was converted to Christianity and immediately became interested in missionary work. After attending Knox College in Canada, he set out for China with his wife, Rosalind.

IT seems fitting that this little book of personal testimonies to answered prayer should have a brief introductory word as to how they came to be written.
