About this book project: Eugene poet, C. Steven Blue, was appointed by the Eugene Public Library to organize a special poetry event to help celebrate Eugene's 150th Birthday. Local poets were invited to submit original works with a Eugene, Oregon theme which Steven decided to also organize into a book. They are the fruit of a writing assignment given to them by their teacher Mrs. Chen, who uses story-writing as one of her many tools to reach into the creativity and imagination of her students.
