This contemporary dramatization from a revered Peking Opera classic was performed in Beijing after the revolution. Accompanied by two audiocassettes and a book, which, utilizing revised Chinese characters, acts as a Chinese-language libretto for the recording; it has been consistently used in Chinese language courses.
