This text is targeted at teaching the reader about inspecting building construction, from the point of view of one who has had years of experience. It is presented roughly in the order of construction. The book not only deals with the inspection of building construction, but also with the relationships and the practical aspects of being on the job site and doing an effective job. It does not spill over into architectural or engineering design. Applicable chapters are supplemented with an outline Memory Jogger that may be used in the field.
