The work comprises a completely nonlanguage test of intelligence which is suited for use with young normal children, deaf children, and children from foreign-language speaking families. It covers the mental age range from two to five years.

This work presents one of the first thorough applications of the Rorschach Test to preschool children. The findings are analyzed in terms of age, sex, mental ability, and various other measurable aspects of personality.
