This is a special anniversary issue in celebration of the 50th volume in the Yearbook of Liturgy and Hymnology series. It opens with a review of the history of this series of yearbooks. To celebrate the special occasion, a new facsimile edition of the so-called Eight-Song Book of 1524 has also been published.
