Khaled, Walaa Dr.-Ing.Walaa Khaled received his Dipl.-Ing. Degree in electrical engineering from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2002 and his Dr.-Ing. Degree from the Ruhr-University Bochum in 2007. He is currently working at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston since January 2008. His research interests are medical Ultrasound imaging , especially elasticity imaging and the use of virtual reality in medical applications.
