This book is about economic evaluation of Renewable Energy Technology (RET), specific wind power, with the goal of obtaining a multidisciplinary approach for economic evaluation model for wind farms through the cost of energy produced. Initially, the main technologies and different architectures used in wind farms. As well as the operating schemes and management of wind farms. Variables needed are identified and presented a sizing model for calculation of the cost of energy produced; we had focused on onshore installations and distribution power on-grid applications. It is made a rigorous analysis of the characteristics of real and topology of aerogenerators simulating the operation of a wind farm to test the validity of models developed. Is also implemented an algorithm for obtaining an optimal response for economic life-cycle of a typical wind farm. The proposed approach involves algorithms for production cost optimization with multiple objective functions based on the mathematical description of the electricity production.
