The conflict in this story arises from the way characters are expected to view the world.Here what I mean by the term disillusion is what Freud says, in The Future of an Illusion, "It is characteristic of the disillusion that it derives from people's wishes.... It needs not necessarily be false, that is to say, unrealistic or incompatible with reality."
