Dr. Mazaher Ahmadi received his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Bu-Ali Sina University in 2017. He has been to Alicante University, Spain, and Stockholm University, Sweden, as a visiting researcher in 2015-2016 and 2016-2017, respectively. He became an Assistant Professor of Analytical Chemistry at Bu-Ali Sina University in 2019. His professional experiences also include two post-doctorate research courses at Shiraz University of Medical Science, Iran, and Bu-Ali Sina University, Iran, in 2017-2018 and 2018-2019, respectively. Dr. Ahmadi is an expert in nanotechnology, analytical method development, pollutant removal, and wastewater treatment. He has edited six Elsevier books. He also has contributed eleven book chapters with Elsevier.
Prof. Abbas Afkhami is a Full Professor of Analytical Chemistry since 2001. He has published more than 310 scientific articles in reputed international journals and two edited Elsevier books in different fields. His research is mainly focused on the development of electrochemical sensors and biosensors. Afkhami has received several awards and honors including the international scientist by ISI (ESI) since 2011, the award of the organization of the Islamic countries (COMSTECH Award), 2009, distinguished professor of the I. R. Iran Universities, 2012, distinguished Analytical chemist of Iran, selected by the Iranian Chemical Society, 2010, and distinguished researcher of Bu-Ali Sina University, selected by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, 2004. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief in Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry Research, the editorial board of Green and Sustainable Chemistry, and the board of directors of the Iranian Chemical Society. He also acts as a reviewer in many journals.
Prof. Tayyebeh Madrakian is a Full Professor of Analytical Chemistry since 2011. Her research interests comprise separation techniques, including the developing of new approaches and synthesis of novel nanomaterials. She has co-authored 190 scientific articles, 2 Elsevier books, and 10 book chapters. Madrakian was on the list of top 1% most outstanding scientists by Essential Science Indicators (ESI) in 2019. She has recently received several awards and honors including distinguished Analytical chemist of Iran, selected by the Iranian Chemical Society, and the national award of the second Woman and Science festival. Madrakian serves as the editorial board of Nanochemistry Research and board of directors of the Iranian Chemical Society. She also acts as a reviewer in many journals (e.g. Analytica Chimica Acta, Sensors and Actuators B, Talanta, J. Hazardous Materials, Microchemical Journal, Microchimica Acta, Materials Science and Engineering C, Applied Surface Science, Analytical Methods, RSC Advances, New Journal of Chemistry).
