An experiment entitled "Studies on effect of pre-sowing stone treatments on germination and production of graftable stock in mango (Mangifera indica L.)" was carried out at Central Nursery Scheme, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani, Maharashtra, India. In the experiment different organic and inorganic treatments were provided to mango stone before sowing. Some chemicals found useful for increase germination percentage, plant growth and graftable rootstock. While organics were showed better results for root growth, survival percentage, B:C ratio and lower incidence of damping off.
