The seasonal incidence of sucking pests on citrus was recorded during 1st to 52nd meteorological weeks of 2013 and it indicated that the sucking pest population was high from first week of January to second week of March (1st to 11th) MW and third week of October to last week of December (42nd to 52nd) MW. Regarding whitefly, the first peak with population of 11.8 whitefly/twig occured during 4th MW. Whereas, the first peak of blackfly (11.8 blackfly/twig) was recorded during 5th MW. The natural enemies population was mostly noticed high first week of January to first week of February 1st to 6th MW, and 42nd to 52nd MW indicating positive interaction between sucking pests and predators on citrus. The pooled data on incidence of whitefly and blackfly (No./twig) influenced by the insecticidal treatments during two seasons revealed that the surviving population of nymphs and adults of blackfly and whitefly in all the insecticidal treatments were comparatively low indicating that these insecticides were significantly effective against both the pests of citrus.
