The studies on the seasonal incidence of major pests viz., red cotton-bug (Dysdercus cingulatus F.), fruit and shoot borer (Earias vittella Fabr.) jassid (Amrasca biguttula biguttula Ishida) and whitefly (Bemisia tabaci Genn.) on different (11) cultivars of okra showed that the pests appeared on the 4th week of February. The incidence of red cotton appeared on the 4th week of April and gradually increased and reached peak level during 2nd week of May. Thereafter declined on 4th week of May in all cultivars. The incidence of fruit and shoot borer appeared on the 1st week of April and gradually increased and reached peak level during 2nd week of April and in some varieties during 3rd week of April. Thereafter declined on 4th week of May in all cultivars. The incidence of jassid appeared on the 4th week of March and gradually increase and reached peak level during the 3rd week of April and in some varieties during 4th week of April. In few varieties incidence reached peak level at 1st week of May and 2nd week of May. Thereafter declined on 4th week of May in all cultivars. The incidence of whitefly appeared on 4th week of February.
