The main intention of my research work is to reduce post-harvest losses occur in our India. As per the report published by Food Agricultural Organization (FAO) of united states 32% of all food produced in the world has been wasted. 19,40,502 MT of food grain worth crores of rupees were wasted in India in last few years. As per the report published by NGO 'Bhook' every night 20 crores of Indians sleep without food. India is second highest population and 24% population below poverty which contributes worlds 33%. Out of these losses post-harvest losses are a major one. Post-harvest losses mean losses occurred between the harvesting of crops to consumption by consumers. My efforts are applied for designing A Solar Dryer for Post Harvesting Treatment of Cereals like Wheat & rice by considering the local geometry of particular places (Solapur, Maharashtra, India & Karjat, Raigad, Maharashtra, India). Also, the provision of thermal energy storage which can be used during a night which will eliminate the need for auxiliary energy sources like biogas, electricity, and fuel which adds a cost of drying; it will also help to reduce a time required for drying.
