Groundnut is one of the principal economic crops of the world, commercially popular due to its superior edible oil quality, protein in the meal and confectionery purposes. In India, groundnut crop grown without supplemental irrigation with poor weed management, improper plant protection, inadequate fertilizer application and other agronomic practices during kharif season. In recent years, due to development of high yielding varieties crop cultivation requires the efficient use of improved agronomic practices such as, spacing, seed treatment, recommended dose of fertilizers, use of farm yard manure, weed control practices, protective irrigation and plant protection measures etc. would increased the yield more than by a single factor. The results of an experiment found that production component increased yield 2.23 % by seed treatment, 33.22 % by 60 cm spacing, 17.29 % by recommended dose of fertilizer, 16.76 % by weed management practices, 16.62 % by protective irrigation, 4.47 % by foliar spray of FeSO4 ] citric acid and also improved package of practices recorded maximum net return as compared to farmers practices under south Saurashtra Agro climatic condition.
