Rauf Arif is Assistant Professor of Journalism and Creative Media Industries at Texas Tech University. Born in Pakistan, Dr. Arif worked as a journalist there before coming to the United States. He has a Ph.D. in mass communication and journalism (2014) from the University of Iowa. His observations on social media and society have appeared in national and international media.
