Wireless sensor networks (WSN) is composed of a huge number of small nodes with restricted usefulness. The most critical issue is this type of networks is energy restrictions. In this area several researches have been done from which clustering is one of the most effective solutions, the goal of clustering is to divide network into sections each of which has a cluster head (CH)has been selected. Hence, Proper choosing of cluster head, and data aggregation is done and sent to base station In this way, the sensor nodes can reduce communication overheads and each sensor node is capable of transmission of data to base station (BS). In wireless sensor network, LEACH and PSO are famous clustering mechanisms. They elect clusters based on probability model. By this approach, they may reduce the network lifetime. The LEACH and PSO does not consider the distribution of sensor nodes and the energy remains of each node. In this book, I introduce a new approach for cluster based sensor networks using Evolutionary BAT algorithm, which aims to extend network lifetime and reduce the control overhead & improved the energy efficiency of the network for better convergence. Simulation results shows
