In the developing countries people have no access to health facilities.critical diseases are very common like Cancer,Hepatitis,Aids etc.In rural areas,even safe drinking water is not available and poor sanitation system becomes the cause of diseases.Due to over population and financial problems it looks difficult to bare the burden of expensive treatment from hospitals and finally majority of patients lose their lives .So,Religious and humanitarian motives have inspired people everywhere in the world for the care and welfare of the sick an disable section of society.This concept has been the main motive behind the beginning of social work and these medical social services projects so that the people can get rid of this problem and spend a healthy life.The study was conduct to check the validity of these services and and suggests some suitable measures to make them more effective and active part in the welfare of the society.
