Space-filling curves have been extensively used as a mapping from the multi-dimensional space into the one-dimensional space. Space filling curve represent one of the oldest areas of fractal geometry. Mapping the multi-dimensional space into one-dimensional domain plays an important role in many applications that involves multidimensional data. This project describes the notion and some kinds of space filling curves. Selecting the appropriate curve for any application requires knowledge of the mapping scheme provided by each space filling curve. It also reports on various space filling curves, viz, classifications, properties, segments, irregularity and its applications. In our proposed technique, for embedding the secret data in an image, Reverse-S-space filling curve is used. It provides a technique of steganography in which the information is hidden exclusively in the form of images, where it adopted Multi-dimensional Surface Fitting (MSF), the technique is based on the essentials of secret codes written in MATLAB.
