In the present work, polyethylene oxide (PEO) doped with NaI and EMIm-TCM solid polymer electrolyte was prepared using the solution caste technique and characterized by various characterization tools. FT-IR and XRD measurements of highly conducting ILSPE showed the perfect complexation of IL with polymer.
