Eliot Warburton was born on January 24th 1896 in Middleborough Kentucky, grew up in England and served in Royal Horse Artillery Regiment where he saw action in many of the notorious battles of World War I including Gallipoli, and the infamous trench warfare of the Somme, Vimy Ridge and Paschendaele.
