Limited availability of water resources in Palestine, Israeli Occupation control over its resources and taking into consideration the sever impact of climate change as a multiplier, all of that make it increasingly urgent to harvest every possible rain drop that falls on the country. Rainwater Harvesting and planting new crops of higher tolerance to the new climate is considered as an important adaptation action to the negative impact of changing climate. Adaptation is the strategic choice and the only way to wisely respond to climate change. Palestinian National Adaptation Plan which was submitted to UNFCCC on 11 November 2016 and Palestine Nationally Determined Contribution which was submitted on 21 August 2017 are the road map for Palestinian Adaptation Actions for the coming ten years with clear focus on the opportunities and potential adaptation actions on main sectors especially water and agriculture sectors among others. Means of implementing the ambitious climate action plans especially: Technology Transfer, Capacity Building and Financial Resources are a crucial pre-requisite to deliver actions on the ground. Support of international community is high priority.
