Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) is one of the most frustrating and difficult areas in reproductive medicine because the etiology is often unknown. Thrombophilia has been directly associated in the etiology of several reproductive conditions including unexplained infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss, thrombophilia could be acquired or inherited, This study focused on inherited thrombophilia factor V G1691A Leiden , methyleneterhydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) C677T and to the prothrombin G20210A gene mutation because recently, it were suggested these mutation, through stimulation of venous and placental thrombosis events, were strongly associated with different pregnancy adverse outcomes, including PET, recurrent miscarriages, IUGR, IUFD, abruption placenta, and others. The current study was a prospective analytical case control study designed to investigate the relationship between Factor V Leiden G1691A, methyleneterhydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) C677T and to the prothrombin G20210A mutation variant and adverse pregnancy outcomes.
