The present study aimed at evaluating the demography and population dynamics of Calotropis procera in relation to environmental conditions in the urban habitats, south Cairo Province, Egypt. Sixty-three permanent quadrats were selected to represent the variations of C. procera growth in the different urban habitats (residential areas, road sides, railways and fallow lands). The phenological behaviour of C. procera indicated that the seedling and vegetative phases were active during winter, while flowering and fruiting were active during the whole year except winter. The highest values of individual's height were recorded in January, August, September, October, November and December, while the highest mean crown diameter was recorded in November. The individuals of C. procera had their highest density during June and along road sides. Moreover, the individual biomass attained its highest value in November and along road sides. It was found that C. procera had its maximum foliage cover during February, while the maximum leaf area was obtained in October.
