This book explains the impact of education as an agent of change among the Turkana people of Kenya. The author argues that education influences the social, cultural, economical and political patterns of a given community. Using qualitative and quantitative analysis, Dr. Lokapel discusses the socio-economic and political development of the Turkana. He observes that underdevelopment among the Turkana is largely as a result of lack of knowledge on self-development.
